Busy busy busy

Health has been problematic but despite that I am making great progress on my books. Sidesword book edits pretty much done and doing final layout. Power on the Rez is on hold until the sidesword book is to the printer which hopefully should be this weekend. I have the 3rd draft edits in hand for PotR so that final edit should go quickly and I can begin to lay that out as well.Shooting for end of November for its publication.

2nd draft complete!

The second draft of Power on the Rez is complete and sent off to my editor. I will also be sending the story off to some Navajo Test Readers. Getting there!

Next revision starts to get put into book format with maps and images included.

Facebork

I keep having second thoughts about facebook. On the one hand it is a way of reaching people and friends. On the other my pages hardly reach 10% of my subscriber list.

Once addicted to facebook what does it take to break the addiction?

Sword book

My 16th century Bolognese sword primer is off to my editor who is also arranging for some of the book photos. Still hope for a summer release.

It may be purchased in ebook format right now from:

Angst

Tomorrow I will be going in for surgery yet again. This has been minimum of once a year for many years. I really need relief. The worry about health, poor quality of life, and losing things I love to do is wearing me out.

Swords anyone?

I'm in the process of doing final layout of my sidesword primer. Am placing the final pics and illustrations over the next month. Then it is hopefully off to print.

In the fiction arena, I am working on my book Power on the Rez. Not going as quick as I would like but it is progressing.

On the translation front, I have halted translation and am instead doing transcription which should make the translation of the two previously unknown rapier manuals easier.

To you SB 1062

Discrimination 2

A child hungry
A man angry
Of a life he doesn't approve

They cannot believe
A request to leave
Just feeding the child they love

They offer no harm
His heart is not warm
Out his door he wants to shove

They walk down the street
As he grits his teeth
Citing law he thinks from above.

Momma comforts son
Leaving that one
Compassion he is reft of
