Last week I had a heart procedure to open up my right coronary artery. They have tried a few other times with no success. However, this time using a new surgeon (suggested by my current on) and some high tech med equipment, including a laser, they were able to open up my right coronary. I felt different immediately. Not a bad different but it weirded me out. Four hours after the surgery, they got me up walking. The next day I was walking more and more and took a long walk around a mall to see how I would do after discharge. I felt better each day. Tuesday and today I exercised at levels that I have not been able to do in many years. I was angina free too!
Now for the plan. Change my diet back to more of a modified paleo diet and cut out all of the processed foods. I've done this before and felt better with more energy. Also, work the exercise so that I get my wind and my endurance back. Not going to be easy but I'm going to do it. I have to do it. I want to keep my arteries open.
